As many of you know, I am a fan of grays, whites, and metallics. I love mirrored furniture and my personal style for my home usually lives in the Hollywood Regency realm, just toned down a little for family living. Today, I’m going to show you an easy way to add a little glamour to a pedestal table.

I picked this table up at an antique mall for $8. It’s a piece of Lane furniture and I was told it’s from the 50′s, but I don’t know. I loved the design on the top and the gold accents on the legs. It just needed a little love and a little jewelry. It also is the perfect height for my fireside chairs. Hooray for fall nights of hot cocoa and scrabble challenges all by the warmth of the fire!

Supplies

1. 1-inch pack of glass tiles (I found them online from an Ebay vendor in a 100 pack. My table measured 71 inches around so I have some leftover.)

2. Quick Drip Permanent Adhesive

Metallic Silver Acrylic Craft Paint (Sorry the label on this paint is about 10 years old! I purchased it at Michael’s.

4. Small art brush

This is such an easy and simple DIY. All I did was paint the side of the table top and the legs with my paint. I did 3 coats on the legs for a flawless finish. I love this paint! It goes on smooth and you don’t see any brush marks. I left the top as-is because it didn’t need anything, I liked it just fine.

As my paint was drying, I glued on my mirror tiles with Quick Drip Adhesive. Since these are small mirror pieces it worked great.( If you are going to add larger pieces of mirror to your furniture I would advise you to get Palmer’s Mirror Mate Adhesive.)

Voila! A glammed up pedestal table. Don’t you love it?? I know I do! Look how pretty my mercury glass looks on it!
