Happy Thrifty Tuesday!
To be honest, it was a great day to hunt for treasure, but I just didn’t get there early enough today.
Some lucky person got a hold of this beauty before I did. But, I did find something that I was looking for. I needed a bowl of sorts to hold my project for Pinspired Thursday.
This silver bowl for $2.38 is perfect. Just a little cleaning and it will be good as new! I love the shape.
Here’s a quick tip for you if you need to clean silver. You don’t have to spend money on silver polish. Just use baking soda.
Just make a paste of baking soda and warm water and scrub your silver with a soft cloth. Rinse it off and it is as good as new. If you don’t have baking soda handy, you could also use ketchup or toothpaste. I also have heard of people using bleach but I have never tried that one. I think baking soda works the best.
And Viola!
All shined up and ready for a close up!
