Our youngest son’s bedroom in our Illinois home was extremely small measuring in at only 9ft x 10 ft. The challenge in this room was obviously the lack of space, but also the lack of function. I was able to give his room a place for his teepee (which he really wanted!), his bed, clothing storage, toy storage, and a desk area to draw. This little space now is full of utility and we kept the color scheme neutral and his toys, books, and art supplies are the standouts. The cross wall treatment was a simple DIY. I converted his closet to a desk space since his clothes are small and all fit nicely in his tall dresser. A stackable bookcase, small Ikea desk, and slim and tall dresser all allow for a twin bed and teepee with floor space to spare.
