Our main bathroom in our Illinois home was a full rip out and remodel job. It was out-dated, lacked proper storage, needed new plumbing and fixture upgrades. Buy adding in a larger vanity with some really smart storage and the double sinks it functions much better for our family. The lighting plan was improved by the three sconces for task lighting and overhead lighting. We kept to a streamlined 1920’s inspired design with the Carrara marble hexagon tiles and floor tiles. The gold taps, hardware, and sconces add some warmth and high end style. We added detail and interest with custom wall paneling. Vintage finds like the lucite towel bar, brass wall hooks, and the whimsical black and white art give character to the this utilitarian space. Wide crown moulding painted a glossy black helps define the space.
