If I can spend as a little as possible on a piece of furniture I will go that route. If I can DIY something or makeover an existing piece it is a big money saver. It also allows for original unique pieces that no one else has and I love that! I have been keeping an eye out for a console table for our dining area. I have not found something that I like that is the right price. Then I remembered this table…
Pretty ugly, right? We inherited this table with the purchase of our first house. This little homemade work table has been shall we say… been loved?
There are 3 good things about this table.
1) It is FREE. 2) It is the right height for a console table and this wall. 3) It is sturdy and free from damage.
I finished this table makeover last night, so it was not ideal to photograph, but I will reveal the makeover details tomorrow. I will show you how I reworked this table to be the right depth and shape. I will explain the method I used to take it from trash to a chic accent table in our dining room.
All for $20.
Check back tomorrow for the full reveal and details,
