a cute little notebook
Ideas. They flood my mind at any given moment. It could be something I saw at a store and thought “I could totally make that” or how I’m going to set the table for a party. A paint color, a craft idea, anything goes. I’m a list maker, a note-taker, an idea scribbler. A wake-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night-idea-writer-downer. It’s my gift and my curse. I have pens and paper stashed all over the house. On my nightstand, in a basket on the kitchen table, in my bathroom drawer–hey, you never know when inspiration may strike. I even keep a notebook handy in my purse and one in my car…if for someone reason I don’t have my purse. With all these notebooks out I like to make sure they are at least pleasing to the eye. So, it really is as simple as just buying a cute little notebook.
Here’s a few of my latest favorites:
I can usually find some great designs at TJ Maxx, Marshalls, or Target. Bookstores like Barnes & Noble and Books-a-million also offer some fun varieties.
And it’s always a plus if it has an inspirational quote on it:

Love the turquoise ones!! These would also be ideal as gifts! I have actually received a few cute notebooks along the ayears and always use them, cary them in my handbag… I need to write everything down nowadays…lol!

They are cute notebooks! And I’m not one of those remember-it-all people. I wrote notes all the time and then I loose the notes
I used to write lists on little sheets of paper and then I would lose the list or forget it! If it is in a book I usually find it

I completely agree! I actually do a lot of note scribbling for the blog…sketching, writing down ideas…I’ve tried tools on my iPad or iPhone but it’s just not the same…I’ll use tech based notes for some things but I’m definitely old fashioned. Anthropologie also has a nice selection of journals and notebooks and often you can find them for about $3-$5 a piece during sales!
I love Anthropologie! The closest one is 2 hours away though. I am the same way. Technology is great, but I love to write it down

I just picked up a notebook at Target yesterday! I find that I’m more productive and focused….able to break down larger tasks into smaller ones. Otherwise all of the to-dos from here until June collide into one big mess of unproductivity. Love your cute notebooks!

I am definitely a scribbler, list maker and trust the pen/paper combination over my iphone. I have the same one from Target, “she’s a dreamer, a doer, a thinker…” I love it! It is the perfect size for my purse
