Here we are rolling into February! Man, I blinked and January was gone! Do you feel like that? Visions of chunky little cupids and red hearts are dancing around my head now. Before we say good-bye to January, here’s our weekly recap. I’m so glad you all liked Priscilla. She is enjoying her new home on the coffee table right now.
DIY Monday.
For the Pin It, Make It Challenge I used liquid gold leaf to paint a cheap dollar store elephant (aka Priscilla).
Great Reads.
Tuesday’s Great Read featured Anneke’s blog This, That, & Life. I just love her and I know you will too!
Little Things.
Wednesday was all about candles + shelter magazines.
What I’m Loving Right Now.
Thursday we talked about chinoiserie– inspiration photos, a shopping guide, and ways to incorporate it into your home.
Weekend.
The weekend ahead is such a mixed bag. I am hoping to take the kids sledding since it appears the snow will stick around and more is on the way. I am going to start playing around with some Valentine’s Day ideas for next week. And, of course, we will be working away on the house. That just seems to be a given every weekend.
Enjoy your weekend!!

Hey Kristin, this morning is just full of elephants
I saw yours on Carmel’s “Make it Party Features” and then the glossy baby elephant over at Anneke and Kelly’s post!
Have a great weekend!
