Do you ever desire an indulgent moment?
Of course you do!
My favorite thing to do for a little “me time” is to light a scented candle and read. Even if it is just for 10 or 15 minutes I can sit and enjoy one of my favorite magazines. Usually 10 mins. is the norm around here with a house full of noisy boys! Even though I adore Pinterest, I still love a good shelter magazine. I love seeing those beautiful spaces in print and read about the people behind them.

Right now my favorite scent of the moment is from Bath & Body Works. The White Barn “Spice” scented candle is a perfect for winter. It smells like cinnamon, citrus, and Christmastime without being perfumey or overwhelming.
Bath & Body works also sells a great line of candle holders. I love the patterns and they come in a gold or a silver finish.
As for my favorite reads. I do alternate between high fashion mags and shelter mags. The two worlds are one in the same to me.

Oh, I really love those candle holders. So cute. I never go into Bath and Body works because I’m super allergic to all those scents – especially when so many different ones co-mingle. I usually get my scented candles at TJ Maxx, but I think I might just HAVE to HAVE those candle holders!

Candles, Fresh Flowers and a trip to the bookstore are a few of my little indulgences. Oh and there is also my love of stylish No 2 pencils!
I saw the cutest No 2′s at Michael’s of all places! They had great bold patterns. All wonderful things, especially the fresh flowers! xo Kristin
I know what you mean about only 10 minutes to read, same here; house full of boys and pets , it gets messy and noisy; I take time to read the blogs I follow on my iPhone. Love those candle holders and we share the same taste in magazines!
