Good Morning and Happy Friday!!
I am glad it is the weekend! This was our first week with school back in session and we went back on the responsible schedule and said good-bye to the fun holiday non-schedule!
I have been toying around with a new blogging schedule and I think I’ve finally come up with one I am happy with.
2013 Weekly Line-up
Mondays: DIY Projects I am keeping DIY Mondays because I love them!! Mondays will continue to feature our latest DIY whether it be an easy DIY home decor project or furniture makeover.
Tuesdays: Great Reads for 2013 This is a new weekly post that debuted this week. Every Tuesday I will feature one of my favorite DIY blogs and highlight a project of their choosing.
Wednesdays: Little Things This is also a new weekly post that will give you small inexpensive ways to enhance your home environment to make it a place you love to be.
Thursdays: What I’m Loving Right Now This is where I will highlight my favorite trends.
Fridays: Weekly Highlights A recap of the past week and what’s on the horizon.
Saturdays: Happenings/Thrifty Finds/Shopping/Organizing/Misc. Saturdays will be on rotation between these categories.
So, that’s the 2013 schedule. It may be altered occasionally for special projects, guest posts, or features.
Monthly you can expect these following posts:

Alrighty! Now that you have the new schedule let’s get into this week’s review. (This review is actually a 2 week review because I didn’t give you one last week.)
The coolest thing this week is that our home was featured on Dreamy Dwellings. If you haven’t seen it yet pop on over and check out the other home tours too:
We started the New Year off right with some easy DIY projects. I made some decorative boxes including one that is the 2013 color of the year–emerald green (swoon!). I also used this Urban Wall Decal and made some map art for our boy’s bedroom.
Around the house we started checking some things off our To-Do List. We updated the lighting in the livingroom. I made over some wall lamps that I got for free off Craigslist, I was feeling a little Downton Abbey influence in my home decor, and I organized our linen closet.
I hope you all enjoy your weekend! We are going to continue to work on our kitchen remodel and I have an easy DIY up my sleeve to work on.
Love the new schedule! Can’t wait to see what you have coming up. You know I’m in love with all of your DIY projects (Emerald green box? Yes, please!).
Tiina
Yay! Thanks, Tiina
Happy Weekend! xo Kristin
This is great! I’m looking forward to your posts!
Lori
Thanks, Lori! Have a great weekend! xo Kristin
Love your schedule! I like that you’re assigning certain topics to certain days… I could probably benefit from a more clearly defined schedule as well!! Thanks for the inspiration
And I can’t wait to see your schedule in action!
You bet! I need to have a plan or else I fail miserably! xo Kristin
same here… i had a calendar going for a while, but it wasn’t as detailed as yours!
You’re so smart to set up a blogging schedule! Will you do that for me too?
Still crazy about those craigslisted wall lights!
Oh, Kelly, of course I would
I’m such a list-maker, note-taker, wake-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night-notepad-scribbler! If I don’t write it down and have something to reference I’m afraid I would be a hot mess! I am so glad you liked the wall lamps
Happy Weekend!! xo Kristin
I like the new schedule (and your new profile pic!). I think your Tuesday series is neat, too. I love the feeling when I stumble across a new blog that I love then going back and reading all the previous entries.
Thanks so much, Jennifer! I do too
I have so many great blogs lined up, I hope you enjoy them! xo Kristin
So glad I came for a visit Kristin. Trying to do a bit of reorganisation over at my blog and what a brilliant idea you have! I don’t think I will be able to blog as much as you do but I will certainly try my darnest best to be organised like you are!
