Good Morning!
2013…Do you ever go into the a new year with a sense of optimism or just the opposite? Well, for some strange reason I feel like 2013 will be awesome. I am trying not to put too many expectations on it, but I think it is more my frame of mind that counts. 2012 was pretty hard and there were plenty of trials and upsets. I’m doing all the usual things people do when the New Year is here– starting a diet, making personal goals, trying to be more productive, making a schedule for my bible study…the list goes on.
I’ve tried to go without making lists and writing things down, and I just fail miserably. I need it on paper (or a computer screen) to stay focused and be effective.
I am taking this motto with my home this year. There will be a great purging of stuff in the weeks ahead!
Our home goals for 2013:
2013 DIY Projects
Organize everything!
Finish Phase 2 of the Kitchen Remodel
Install new lighting in Living Room
Makeover our Entryway
Install a fireplace mantle
Replace Baseboards in Living Room, Entryway, & Hallway
Paint trim in Living Room around windows & doorways white
Paint coat closet door
Paint inside of coat closet…
and a million other little things to craft, makeover, & create!

I’m a total list person too! And totally sore from yesterday. Ha! It’s going to be a great year!
I just went to Target and bought out the Organizher stuff so I can stay on top of everything! My kiddos both have runny noses and coughs so I am going to work out after dinner…YIKES! xo Kristin
