Here is our tree for 2012 keeping with our glam holiday theme:
All the ornaments are various sizes of silver and gold balls with a few stars mixed in. The top of the tree we made a simple bow with some glittered ribbon and added a few embellishments.
My favorite ornaments this year have to be these mirrorball ones! I have them all over our house.
I also love how the metallics stand out against our navy wall.
Nothing beats a Christmas tree as a backdrop for photographs either.

I always get so excited the first night I see the Christmas tree lit up in all it’s glory! We have a tradition in our family that we camp out by the tree the first night and the last night it is up. It is a little bittersweet to take it down every year, but I start to crave order and the great purging of stuff inevitably follows.
