Good Morning!
I am super excited to be hosting the holiday tablescape portion of our Home for the Holidays Link Party! You can start linking up your tablescapes now with the linky provided at the end of this post. I can’t wait to see what you all have been up to!
Here’s a button if you would like to add that to your post.
When the tablescape portion closes Sunday, I will select my favorites and have a special feature on Monday!
Let’s get right to it!
Here is my Holiday Tablescape for 2012.
I wanted to stay with my glam holiday theme so I chose classic patterns in black and white and added a lot of shiny details in gold and silver.
For each place setting, I selected gold glitter chargers and mixed my basic white china with my fine china.
For the name cards, I used scrapbook paper. I cut the cardstock papers with circle cutters and simply wrote with a Sharpie marker. The black ribbon wraps around the plates. I wanted it to resemble a wrapped present.
I added my favorite monogrammed napkins. Thanks again, Amy!
The table cloth is a basic white table cloth and I purchased the black and white greek key fabric on clearance. Can’t beat $3.98/yard!
Down the center of the table I used a simple black table runner and put gold ribbon over the center. I added boxwood and evergreen stems that I cut fresh from our yard.
I wove-in ornaments, gold jingle bells, and small glass votives.
For the centerpiece, I used a silver footed bowl and added ornaments in silver and gold. I love the mirrorball ornaments I found this year.
The tree in the background, was unplanned, since we are still laying floors in the dining area. Just an added bonus!
So, now it’s your turn! You can link up by clicking on the link below and just follow the instructions on the Linky Tools page. Just make sure you delete the http:// already provided before you enter your link.

Understated elegance works for me so your table is a real hit. Love the black-and-white cloth which appears to be the starting place for the entire look. I’d love to link, but my first table won’t be ready until tomorrow!

Very pretty and elegant. Love the gold with the black and white color palate. And the layering of the plates with the place cards made for a really nice effect.
