Nothing like sipping some chocolate goodness on a cold winter’s night! Here’s my cocoa bar for this holiday. I think there is nothing better than some hot cocoa with some Bailey’s and whipped cream, but whatever your fancy, setting up a cocoa bar for entertaining guests is a great idea. It’s super fun for kids too, just skip the alcohol.
Candy Cane Cocoa
1 serving of your favorite cocoa or mix (I love Nestle’s Rich Hot Chocolate)
1 shot of Peppermint Schnapps
Whipped Cream
Crushed Candy Canes on top
Irish Hot Chocolate
1 serving of hot chocolate
1 shot of Bailey’s Irish Cream
Whipped Cream
Green Sprinkles
On a side note, to make my bar cart more interesting I added black satin ribbon on top.
Enjoy!

I love the Hot Chocolate Bar idea… we may have to add that to our Christmas Party!!!
Oh, you should! You could add a lot of options to it for kids too. xo Kristin
Luv it K! Those mugs are especially cute and I like the ribbon over the table top. Great decorating tip!
Thanks, J! It is 18 degrees out this morning…a good day for some cocoa indeed! xo Kristin
Yummy! We make our own mix with cocoa and sugar… then add in milk, all in a pot on the stove. Then, we make our own whipping cream with heavy whipping cream and sugar. Mmmm!!!
That is the best way to make cocoa! We do that once a year on the first snow. Never done my own whipped cream for it though, might have to try that! xo Kristin
Such a cute idea ! Can’t wait to buy some holiday liqueur for my coffee and hot chocolate!
Thanks, Gillian! I snagged the last bottle in stock of Bailey’s yesterday. They were sold out at Target. Must have been the Thanksgiving rush! xo Kristin
That looks wonderful! I want to spend the evening at YOUR house! Thanks for sharing at the party!
Thanks, Lorraine! You betcha! I am not much of a recipe inventor, so I thought everyone loves hot chocolate, right? xo Kristin
We throw a Christmas party every year and serve hot cocoa and brandy. This year I’m changing it up!! Thanks for the idea!! Who doesn’t love peppermint? – Caasi

My kids love cocoa, so we have it during the winter months. I usually treat myself to a couple over the holidays
