Glitter Pinecones

Good Morning!

Today I have a kid-friendly craft that will take you into Thanksgiving and you can reuse it for the rest of the holidays. I love a holiday craft that I can do with my kids. I had my little buddy helping me and we had a blast. When glitter is involved it is okay to get a little messy!

The Supplies:

For Easy Clean-up: We also used 2 cookie sheets lined with the wax paper. One was a glitter station and the other was a drying station. When you are all done you can just lift up the wax paper and pour the unused glitter back into it’s case.

And might I just add that little hands make the best helpers!

I love the idea of these in apothecary jars or in a footed bowl. Another thought–you could just add small eye hooks and ribbon and they would make pretty ornaments.

Have a great weekend!!!

  1. Too funny, Kristin, this is a craft my sister and I regularly did as kids! Although ours NEVER looked this elegant. We would sell them in a stand from our front yard for 25 cents a pop. Love the waltz down memory lane.

  2. Thanks for dropping by my blog. I’m very far from any DIY projects by nature and inclination. Based where I am, I haven’t even cooked since June. So far it’s not been boring. All the best.

    • Hi, Sarah! My youngest had so much fun being the glitter shaker ;) Cinnamon spice sounds divine. I just got the White Barn Spice scented candle from B&B works. It smells like holiday time :) xo Kristin

  3. I just bought some silver and translucent glitter to do Christmas crafting with my toddler :) We used to make things with gumnuts where I grew up (Sth Australia), but now I am in Europe I think pinecones at Christmas are more seasonal ;)
