Happy October!
Since it is officially October, I feel it is now ok to allow my kids to start doing Halloween crafts and decorating. To be honest, I really hate all the gore that comes with this holiday. We keep it wholesome on the home-front and don’t get into the scary stuff.
Day 10
So, glitter bats and Casper ghosts are about as spooky as we get in these parts.
Supplies
Branches or fake tree stripped of leaves and painted.
Orange light strand
6 sheets of black glitter foam sheets
Black ribbon
Hole punch
Scissors
Bat template
This is a super easy craft you can do with your kids that can handle scissors. My oldest helped me cut the bat templates after I traced them. I made my own bat template out of cardstock, but they have them at every craft store if you don’t want to make your own.
This is awesome! I just cut out some bats for my wall this weekend! They are so creepy but make really cute decor! I would have never thought to make a Halloween tree, you are so creative!
The tree was actually my son’s idea. The bats were mine. I think he takes after his momma in the creativity department

Vrery cool!!
Thanks, Sophie!
Holidays look so fun at your place!
I think it’s only because of my kiddos. I’m not big into holiday decor except for Christmas…my oldest loves to do crafts and is the driving force behind a lot of the halloween stuff. It is a lot of fun too;) xo K
How did I miss this? I love it. Such a fun Halloween idea.
It was a collaboration I did with my oldest boy. He is so creative
