Day 19 Fall Countdown

Sorry for my absence yesterday. I owe you an extra fall countdown day this week! I was taking a day off. But, never fear,The Fall Countdown continues…

Day 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19

Fall is such a fun time in my family. We love to enjoy the season. Every year, my husband and I take a weekend trip to Wisconsin to see some outdoor plays. We stay in the quaint little towns close by and enjoy a weekend with friends.

These are our tickets from last season. I made a little run over to Goodwill. I knew I wanted brass and a houndstooth pattern. I picked up the frame for 88 cents and purchased a shirt with the houndstooth pattern for 25 cents. It was about 3 sizes too big, but I just wanted the fabric. Gotta love 25 cents day!

I think the brown and tan houndstooth works well against the brass. Nice and warm for fall. Now I smile every time I see that frame just knowing that our next play weekend is only weeks away!

Menswear patterns are so in style this fall. It is really fun to wear them and a bonus if you can bring them into your home decor.

Happy Wednesday!!!

Not sure if it is the same at every GW, but here it is Wednesday at one. The always pick a colored tag for 25 cent markdowns. Outdoor theater is fantastic, especially on a wonderful fall evening :) xo Kristin

I love the idea of saving ticket stubs… I’m trying to come up with a way to save/display our U2 tickets from last year.

Great idea on using Goodwill for fabric! I would have never thought of that.
