Day 20 of the countdown
The 25 days until fall is rolling along! Thanks for all your enthusiasm as I continue to post fallspiration. I love that we can all be crazy about the season together!
Day 20
All that glitters is gold…
I am in love with black and gold tablescapes presently. This is my take on a golden harvest table.
This is how this breaks down. First the linens. I used just a white cotton table cloth and a black cotton runner. The place settings are just gold glittered chargers with a basic white china and linen napkins. I love monograms, so of course, we had to include that. (Thanks, Amy!)
The leaves are craft leaves that you can pick up for 99 cents a pack at a craft store. I just spray-painted them metallic gold.
The pumpkins are the spray-painted the same.
The little votives are from the dollar store and sold in a four pack.
The creamy white roses add elegance. I kept all details gold including the vase which catches the light of the candles.
Have a great Labor Day!

I love the black and gold combo for fall!
Yes, it is my fave this year! xo
Beautiful!
Thanks!! xo Kristin
Oh my goodness, this is BEAUTIFUL! And your photos are AMAZING! Do you do your own designing AND photography? If so, I think you are my idol because it all looks fabulous!
Yes, I do. Thank you so much! I love working on designs and am slowly learning photography. I don’t have a flashy camera, but hope to get an upgraded one soon
Definitely a novice when it comes to taking photos. So glad you like it
xo Kristin
I myself LOVE the mono napkins. I’m glad you gave that “shout out” to Amy (wherever she is…)!
Well, “Mrs. Seward” I will let her know
. Calling you that sounds like the name of a 5th grade English teacher. Just a random observation. xo K
This is super chic! Love the sophisticated palette and the simple floral arrangement! Great job Kristin
Thanks, Sarah! xo
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I can’t wait to begin decorating for fall. I think your tablescape is beautiful and I love the idea of painting pumpkins!
Thanks, Amanda! It will be here soon. Thanks for reading! xo Kristin
The more I see of glittery, metallic, spray-painted squash, the more I want to make my own! Love this twist on traditional fall colors! And I agree with eversothrifty – your photos look amazing! I am still trying to get the hang of photography
Thank you! I love all things metallic and shiny. You may sense a on-going theme when you read my blog. I hope to get a nice camera one of these days so I can really work on my photography
Kristin
Love it! Makes me in the mood for Thanksgiving! And that spray paint makes the squash/pumpkins look awesome.

Thanks so much, Melanie! I enjoyed looking through all the images! Xo Kristin
Very sophisticated, yet festive table setting! I love that it would complement the decor/color scheme in ANY house…since black and gold are neutrals that can combine with nearly any other color combination. And still so fallish and festive!
Thank you, Kristin! I am really smitten with black and gold this year. I love how rich and full of contrast it is! I think I am going to do a spin on this for Thanksgiving, but add in some “feathery touches”. Thanks for popping by! xo Kristin
