Hello, friends!
If you’ve been reading this blog for even a short period of time, you are probably queued into my little color affair I have going with Navy. Well, let me tell you, Navy does not disappoint! Today I get to reveal the long-awaited navy wall I have been pining for this past month.
So, here it is (I feel like there should be a drum roll ala Nat’l Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation):
Before
After
The color is Valspar Signature Collection “Mystified” 4011-8 purchased from Lowe’s.
Here are some after shots of the room with its little mini-makeover.
I love how bright and rich it is!
Enjoy your Thursday and check out today’s fallspiration if you haven’t already!

I have enjoyed reading your blog and you are so right the NAVY adds that pop of color. Beautiful
Thanks, Lisa! I love it! xoxo Kristin
Navy is my favorite color! Love the wall!
Thanks, Laurie! xoxo Kristin
Everybody (and walls) looks good in navy!!
That is sooo true! xxx Kristin
I love the color. It looks beautiful as an accent wall. I never thought of using navy but this looks amazing!
Thanks so much! The room feels so warm and rich now! xoxo Kristin
It looks like a page out of those home magazines, great job!
It’s STUNNING . . . and your lovely photos look like a decorating magazine lay-out! Your projects always make me smile!
Thanks so much! xoxo Kristin
Looks fabulous. Hmmmmmm maybe i need to make a trip to sherwin williams soon.
Thanks, Rena! xoxo Kristin
i love the way your accessories pop against the navy wall!!!!!!
Thanks! I think I am painting those gallery frames gold next! xoxo Kristin
Kristin, it looks beautiful! I love how it really highlights all your navy touches you made throughout the room.
Thanks, Kelly! That was the plan. To have one gorgeous wall and have the eye carry to the navy around the other parts of the wall
xoxo Kristin
I love how dramatic it is! All of the white accents really pop against it. I don’t think navy is a colour choice I would have ever thought of for the walls, but I really like how it looks!
It took the room from boring to WOW! That’s what I wanted. Most of my personal spaces I like light and bright, but I wanted this to have a little moment! Thanks so much! xoxo Kristin
Wow, Kristin! Looks great! It really makes the sofa pop!
Thanks, Beth! xoxo Kristin
Looks great, Kristin! The navy adds richness and makes everything pop out!
Hows the kitchen coming along?
We are going to do the floors this weekend. First time laying hardwoods so this will be a learning experience I’m sure
Very good choice as the navy is a wonderful backdrop for all the things you show in your photos.
Thanks so much!! xoxo Kristin
Looks nice! I was at Target the other day & thought of you when I saw that they are now selling mercury glass! Your mercury glass looks so pretty against the navy.
Thanks! At Target? Wow! That’s awesome, I’ll have to look for that. We were there yesterday buying school supplies and I had tunnel vision! xoxo Kristin
Yay! It turned out so good. The color is so rich and really pops against all your white accessories! Great pick!
YAY! I am loving it! Thanks, Sarah! xoxo Kristin
I love navy too! Such a classy and perfect color. Your room looks beautiful!
Thanks you! xoxo Kristin
Gorgeous! I love how the teal trays go with the navy and the way the grays pop off the navy. LOVE it!!!
Thanks you, Sarah! That was all part of the master plan
Kristin
Genius master plan! Great job.
Oh, dear! Ignore my typo! xoxo Kristin
