The Wall I Had Longed to Paint

Hello, friends!

If you’ve been reading this blog for even a short period of time, you are probably queued into my little color affair I have going with Navy. Well, let me tell you, Navy does not disappoint! Today I get to reveal the long-awaited navy wall I have been pining for this past month.

So, here it is (I feel like there should be a drum roll ala Nat’l Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation):

Before

After

The color is Valspar Signature Collection “Mystified” 4011-8 purchased from Lowe’s.

Here are some after shots of the room with its little mini-makeover.

I love how bright and rich it is!

Enjoy your Thursday and check out today’s fallspiration if you haven’t already!

  1. I love how dramatic it is! All of the white accents really pop against it. I don’t think navy is a colour choice I would have ever thought of for the walls, but I really like how it looks!

    • It took the room from boring to WOW! That’s what I wanted. Most of my personal spaces I like light and bright, but I wanted this to have a little moment! Thanks so much! xoxo Kristin

    • Thanks! Good eye, I got that tartan from a antique mall, it was still on a bolt, never been used and had the old tags on it from the vendor in Scotland. Very cool! xoxo Kristin
