Today is all about the bookcase! Sometimes these become a catch-all for old books and papers and they can look quite unkept. I am going to give you an easy 1-2-3 approach to make putting a bookcase vignette together a piece of cake!
First, I will show you the before and after of this one:

For this project I used Rustoleum Cabinet Renovations. It’s 3-step approach covers oak magnificently!
Now onto the styling:
Step 1.
Place your larger items first. Think of layering this like you would clothes.
Step. 2
Start filling in with your medium size items. Books are great in this step.
Step 3. Small items and little fillers.

These smaller items are your finishing touch. You may have to step back and edit. You don’t want to make it too cluttered.
Easy as 1-2-3! Now go on and style that bookcase! You know you want to!!!! xoxo-bliss.

Could u frost the glas to take away the golden rod tint? I love it.
I don’t know. I know the stained glass isn’t my style, but it is there…I think I’m just going to live with it for a while. I wish it was just a wooden back so I could paint it navy! xoxo
OMG! I absolutely love what you did with that bookcase! You are such a talent! Love your blog!!!!!!
Thanks so much, Elle! I enjoyed reading your blog today in my Sunday coffee & comfy chair routine
